Euro-Mediterranean complains blocking papers sites by PA

Le directeur de l'Observatoire euro-méditerranéen pour les droits de l'homme, Rami Abdo, a annoncé dimanche soir qu'il devait déposer une plainte auprès du Rapporteur spécial de l'ONU sur la liberté d'opinion après que l'Autorité palestinienne ait bloqué des dizaines de sites et de journaux d'information palestiniens en Cisjordanie.



Gaza, ALRAY - The director of the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights Rami Abdo announced Sunday evening that he is to lodged a complaint to the UN Special Rapporteur on freedom of opinion after the Palestinian Authority blocked dozens of Palestinian news websites and newspapers in the West Bank.

"Abdo stated on his Facebook page that they received many complaints from the websites and newspapers that blocked by Palestinian Authority order.

He noted that all these complaints will be lodged to David Kaye David Ki, UN special rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression.

He also pointed that the Euro-Mediterranean Observatory for Human Rights well lodge Monday a verbal statement to the Human Rights Council during the general debate on the seventh article that address the issue.
