The Palestinian Authority is considering hiring Israeli marketing firms for a campaign to attract young Israelis to what they are calling "the other Palestine," Israel Radio reported on Friday.

What is normalisation? What is there to be aware of when Israelis and Palestinians meet in order to talk about the political situation or goals that can or should be achieved by working together?

On Saturday January 11, some 300 Palestinians and Israelis met in Hebron to advance joint Palestinian-Israeli actions to end Israeli occupation and racism and to promote a just peace for all in the region. The slogan of the conference was 'yes to joint struggle, no to normalisation!’, a clear statement leading the way for the future.

This statement was the common thread throughout the conference speeches, whether from the representatives of the Hebron municipality, members of the Israeli social movement Tarabut-Hithabrut, the Alternative Information Center as well as contributions from different initiatives and activists.
