Israeli PM orders building new illegal settlement

Le Premier ministre sioniste commande de construire une nouvelle colonie illégale

More than 600,000 illegal settlers live in occupied West Bank. Some statistics said that number stands at around 800,000

Despite increasing Israeli violations against Palestinians and
their property, the international community increases its
support to Israel and blacklists Palestinian resistance groups.

Israeli PM announced on Tuesday that ground had been broken for building first Israeli Jewish settlement in occupied West Bank in 25 years.
The new settlement, to be known as Amichai, is to accommodate illegal settlers of the illegal Amona outpost, which was evacuated in February in line with court orders because it was built on private Palestinian land.

“Today, ground works began, as I promised, for the establishment of the new community for the residents of Amona,” the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tweeted.

“After decades, I have the privilege to be the prime minister who is building a new community in Judea and Samaria.”

The new illegal Jewish settlement, which will be located near the illegal settlements of Shiloh and Eli in north of Ramallah, will be the first of its kind to be constructed since the Israeli-Palestinian Oslo peace accords were signed in 1993.

Israel Radio said the works begun on Tuesday involved laying the infrastructure for the illegal settlement.

Defying the international community’s decisions, the Israeli occupation is carrying on expanding already existed settlements and building new ones in the occupied Palestinian territories.

In return to these measures, along with daily killing of Palestinians and imposing collective punishment on them, the international community increases its support to Israel and blacklists Palestinian resistance groups.

Moreover, the international community keeps silent regarding strict Israeli measures against the Palestinian civilians.
