Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Thursday 24 Palestinians across West Bank, including 12-year-old boy from Al-Khalil.
The Palestinian Prisoner Club (PPC) said that 23 of the Palestinians were kidnapped during night raids of Palestinian homes in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
In a statement, the PPC said that the Israeli occupation forces beat a 77-year-old man in the city of Qalqilia.
According to the statement, the old man tried to prevent the kidnapping of his son by the Israeli occupation forces during the night.
“The Israeli beat him harshly and he was admitted to a Palestinian hospital and his son was kidnapped,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said that the Israeli occuaption forces kidnapped a 12-year-old Palestinian boy near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque in the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.
The boy was identified at Ahmed Ghaith and he was kidnapped at the illegal Israeli checkpoint over claims he had a “fruit knife.”
However, his mother said that she sent him to buy a nail cutter for her. “Most nail cutters include very small knives, but they do not even cut a piece of sponge,” the mother told Days of Palestine.
