Israel summons guard for investigation, settlers re-storm ALaqsa

The Supreme Islamic Council, Al Ifta department, Council of Islamic issues and holy sites, and Ministry of Endowment have warned about the calls by the so-called Temple Mount Organizations to storm Alaqsa during the upcoming Jewish Feasts.

Occupied Jerusalem, ALRAY – The Israeli Intelligence summoned on Tuesday one of Alaqsa guards for investigation.

Firas Aldabas, Media and Public Relations Officer in Islamic Endowment Department in Occupied Jerusalem, said that the Israeli Intelligence had summoned Hamza Nemer, Alaqsa guard for investigation purposes.

He also added that the Israeli Forces had arrested Nemer along with a group of guards 4 days before they summoned them.

The Israeli forces have recently escalated targeting Alaqsa guards on charges of confronting Israeli archaeology experts attempting to steal Alaqsa ancient stones and perform Talmudic prayers at Alaqsa.

Additionally, dozens of Israeli settlers stormed on Sunday morning Alaqsa courtyards via Almaghariba gate with intense Israeli security.

Aldabas added that 37 settlers, 106 Jewish students, and 10 police women provokingly stormed Alaqsa and were taught about the so-called Temple Mount.

The Israeli police also intensified procedures and restrictions on Palestinian prayers and took their ID cards for alleged security purposes.

Dozens of Palestinian prayers have swarmed Alaqsa since the morning and confronted the settlers who were storming its courtyard.

The so-called Temple Mount Organization called its Jewish devotees to take part in the mass storming of Alaqsa next Thursday in preparation for the Passover Eve starting in the middle of April.

They also called Arab leaders and people to stand up against the Israeli racist practices in Alaqsa.
