Tunis, ALRAY -- Tunisian parliamentarian Sulaf Qusentini called for supporting the efforts aiming at combating the discrimination and applying the international law on Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people in general and the besieged Gaza Strip in particular.

The responsible of the diplomatic and political in the international campaign to break the Gaza siege said that the Israeli policy against Palestinians is one of the most blatant forms of discrimination as it perpetrates the latest and most violent acts of apartheid through the construction of the separation wall and the daily crimes of violence against women, children and the unarmed Palestinian people at the hands of Israeli soldiers.

The continued siege of Gaza for the eleventh year amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions is a harsh violation of human rights, she added.

On the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, Qusentini stressed that this day represents an opportunity for all, especially the United Nations system, to renew the commitment to the principles of justice, equality and dignity among peoples.
