U.S Ambassador to the U.N says she doesn’t have enough “details” about the matter in Libya

Fox News reported that U.S Ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice, said she is “concerned” about the violence and attacks against civilians, “but has few details” to gauge this situation due to the “crackdown on social media and journalists by Libyan government forces.”

With all due respect to Ms. Rice, that is simply NO EXCUSE. If helpless, ill-funded, and under-resourced average civilians on the streets of Libya find innovative and creative ways to reach the world with news, it should be simple enough for the United Nations and their member states to get more “details” on a serious international atrocity.
